Please post any questions or any ideas in response to ANY other post! The goal of this wiki is to get students working with each other!
You will be assessed for your use of this website using the relevant parts of the "Group Discussion Rubric." Ask your teacher for a copy of the rubric.
Remember, you are allowed to disagree with each other. If you think someone is wrong - tell them, and be sure to explain why. Keep your posts positive, or you will loose marks on the rubric and have to remove your posts. If anyone is rude to others in the class, they will be asked to make a public apology!

In addition, you will find extra English links that I will post for you. These include recommended reading lists and online resources you can use to study English!

Assessment
You will be marked for three things you do on this wiki.
First: Working as part of an online learning community
You will be marked using the online learning rubric. You can find it on the "Maple Leaf Rubrics" page on the right.
To earn marks you need to participate in the online discussions and give other students quality ideas. You must also be positive at all times - even if you are disagreeing with another person. So start posting and regularily check the website!
Second: Your Response to Literature Essay
Only the final copy will be marked.
It will be marked according to the same 6-point scale we have used this year.
Third: Your editing of other students work
Editing for Grammar will be marked in the same way - on a 1-4 scale.
Editing for Meaning - I will post a rubric for this later.
